NORFOLK, Va. — The Harry S. Truman carrier strike group is back in Norfolk after completing a pre-deployment exercise.
The Navy said the composite training unit exercise included maritime interdiction and integrated air and surface warfare.
Two Canadian ships, the HMCS Ville de Quebec and the HMCS Preserver, and the German frigate FGS Hamburg also participated in the exercise.
The exercise began Jan. 14. The strike group returned to Naval Station Norfolk on Sunday.
