These enlisted soldiers have been selected for enrollment in the Army Medical Department Enlisted Commissioning Program for fiscal 2014.

Upon successful completion of training, the soldiers will be commissioned as second lieutenants in the active component of the Army Nurse Corps, and designated in officer specialty 66H, medical-surgical nurse.

The AECP provides eligible enlisted soldiers of the Regular Army, National Guard, Army Reserve and Active Guard and Reserve with an opportunity to complete a bachelor of science degree in nursing, and a follow-on commission in the Nurse Corps.

Participants receive full pay and allowances while in the program for up to 24 months. AECP funds tuition costs of up to $9,000 per year, and up to $1,000 per year reimbursement for books. Participants are entitled to a full cost move to their school of acceptance.
