Guidance is out from Human Resources Command on changes that require officers and NCOs to be evaluated based on how well they stop sexual harassment.
The new policies apply to rating periods that started Sept. 28 and later. Details are available in MilPer Message 13-306, dated Oct. 22.
The changes require that officers and NCOs be held accountable for their commitment to eliminating sexual harassment, and to fostering a climate of dignity and respect in their units, and meeting goals of the Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention program.
