Worldwide eDocket lists Army courts-martial cases

Soldiers can now see a list of pending cases in the Army justice system after the service’s “worldwide docket” went live on Oct. 1.

The Army courts-martial eDocket lists pending cases by base or installation, by circuits and has a search option of cases by name of the person facing a court-martial. It also provides the names of judges presiding over each circuit and has a map of the circuit jurisdictions.

“The new eDocket provides a ‘real time’ docket, as clerks and judges update it when events happen,” said Troy Rolan, an Army spokesman, in an email. “The eDocket enhances transparency to the public,” he said.

The docket lists the Uniform Code of Military Justice articles that each person listed in the docket is facing in their court-martial and has a separate tab explaining the UCMJ offenses.
