The last of the 2013 federal Officer Candidate School selection boards will meet Jan. 6-10 at Fort Knox, Ky., about a month later than previously scheduled.
Like many other centralized promotion, school and command selection boards, the OCS panel has been delayed because of the recent government shutdown that snarled the processing of application packets and other board-related paperwork.
The delay does not affect the eligibility of OCS applications received at Human Resources Command for the December board, according to command officials.
The OCS board previously scheduled for May 5-9 remains on schedule. The deadline for application packets is March 21.
