Separation: Household goods

The government will pay for separating members to ship their personal property to their “home of record.” Shipments must be completed within 180 days of the separation date. The government also will pay for storage before the final shipment.

The maximum weight limits and number of personal vehicles the government will pay to move are the same as those for a normal reassignment.
