Alcohol

The military offers inpatient or outpatient alcohol treatment at almost every installation.

Detoxification is required of service members diagnosed as being dependent on alcohol. Many facilities also offer special programs for spouses and teenage children.

Family members with alcohol problems may get outpatient counseling at military facilities. Inpatient treatment may be available at the nearest military facility.
