Back talk: Camp Bucca

I have been to Camp Bucca and was a part of the Joint Interrogation and Debriefing Center up north at Camp Cropper. I have seen firsthand what we are doing there, and we are doing great things. We are turning things around from the inside. You definitely have to visit Bucca to get a personal glimpse of change in action.

Editorial: No more amphib excuses

Someone needs to find another job. It’s disheartening to see a super-high-tech ship with hundreds of thousands of man-hours [spent] planning, designing, building, inspecting and testing [that] fails miserably! I’m sure my job would be suddenly transferred if my performance [were] that low. Every success is built on the ability to do better than good enough.

Is hard labor fair?

I find it humorous that the punished wound up complaining. They should have been sent to jail and kicked out; obviously their commanding officers went soft, especially for the guy who tested positive for coke. I would have booted him so fast he’d still be a blur traveling around the world.
