3 admirals nominated for new positions

The White House has nominated three admirals for appointments to senior posts in planning, Fleet Forces Command and Naval Sea Systems Command, according to an announcement Wednesday.
Vice. Adm. William D. Crowder, now commander of 7th Fleet, has been nominated to become the deputy chief of naval operations for information, plans, policy and strategy at the Pentagon.
Rear Adm. Peter Daly, now assistant deputy chief of naval operations for information, plans and strategy, has been nominated for a third star and assignment as deputy commander of Fleet Forces Command in Norfolk, Va.
Rear Adm. Kevin McCoy, now deputy commander for ship design at NavSea, has been nominated for a third star and assignment as NavSea commander at the Navy Yard in Washington.
