Active E-9 opportunity up slightly

The chance for senior chiefs to move up this year is up almost 1 percentage point since last year’s selection board; opportunity for this year is 11.93 percent, with quotas for 397 new E-9s.
Last year’s opportunity was 11.01 percent, with 353 quotas.
