Medal of Honor recipient turning 100

ALTAMONT, N.Y. — John Finn, Frank Currey and Nick Oresko are members of an exclusive club that tends to shrink when the nation isn't at war. And of the less than 100 living recipients of the Medal of Honor, Finn is the most exclusive of all, as he nears his 100th birthday.
Finn is the oldest living honoree, a Navy veteran awarded the medal for his actions during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.
Finn, of Pine Valley, Calif., and 83-year-old Francis Currey of nearby Selkirk got together Friday morning to begin a weekend gathering outside Albany, N.Y., that will mark Finn's upcoming birthday in July. It will also give them a chance to reunite with Oresko.
Like Currey, Oresko was an Army infantryman honored for fighting the Germans. He's 92 and lives in Cresskill, N.J.
