LeFever tapped for 3rd star

Rear Adm. Michael LeFever has been nominated for appointment to the grade of vice admiral, Defense Secretary Robert Gates announced Wednesday.
LeFever is chief, Office of the Defense Representative-Pakistan, U.S. Central Command, Islamabad, Pakistan.
When he was commander of Expeditionary Strike Group 1, LeFever commanded Disaster Assistance Center Pakistan, responsible for coordinating the U.S. military response to Pakistan’s devastating 2005 earthquake.
