PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. — A small plane carrying a Coast Guard crew had engine trouble Wednesday after landing at South Florida airport.
After landing, the pilot of Piper Geronimo 5-passenger plane reported a fire in the plane’s engine.
The crew aboard the plane was able to get out without incident.
The fire was extinguished. The crew had been on a mission, but details on the mission were not immediately available.
