Submarine Norfolk due back in VA

NORFOLK, Va. — The fast-attack submarine Norfolk is on its way home.
The Navy says the vessel is due back in its namesake city next week. The Virginian-Pilot newspaper reports the Norfolk has been deployed to Europe and the Middle East since March 5. The sub and its crew of 135 sailors is due back Monday.
The Navy says the Norfolk traveled roughly 34,000 nautical miles during its trip.
