Two fishermen spent Thanksgiving on dry land after the Coast Guard scrambled two air crews Wednesday to save them from their sinking boat, more than 250 miles off the coast of Key West, Florida.

Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater scrambled an HC-130 Hercules and an MH-60 Jayhawk after receiving a distress call late Wednesday for the fishing vessel Hawaii Five-1, reported listing, according to a Coast Guard release.

The boat sank while the HC-130 and Jayhawk were en route, and the two survivors were hoisted into the helicopter from a life raft.

The two were hospitalized, but buyno serious injuries were reported.
