WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump’s budget proposal for fiscal 2019 is set to be released Monday, and congressional work on the funding plan will start right away.

The House and Senate Armed Services Committees have seven hearings scheduled for this week alone, with more to come on budget issues in the weeks ahead.
