A half-dozen veterans will vie for $1 million this week on “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire,” and their efforts on the syndicated game show may also pay off for disabled vets.

The show will donate $5,000 to Disabled American Veterans every time one of the contestants reaches the $100,000 question during “Victories for Veterans” week, which begins Monday, per a show news release.

The syndicated game show has aired since 2002 after debuting on ABC in 1999. It hosted a similar “theme week” last year, and also aired a “Hometown Heroes” week during which Air Force Staff Sgt. Spencer Stone, Oregon National Guard Spc. Alek Skarlatos and Anthony Sadler — the men who thwarted an attack on a Paris train in 2015 — split a $250,000 prize.
