The leader of a Navy Reserve center in Wisconsin was ousted Wednesday amid an investigation into personal misconduct.

"A preliminary investigation into allegations of inappropriate and demeaning behavior led to his relief due to loss of confidence," said Navy spokesman Lt. Cmdr. Ed Early, who was unable to elaborate on the allegations against Ruedy.

Ruedy had commanded NOSC Green Bay since March 2014. Cmdr. Mark Stewart, NOSC Chicago'sthe center’s executive officer, will take over until a permanent CO is named.

Ruedy is the 20th Navy commanding officer fired in 2015, for reasons that have ranged from poor performance or toxic command climate to inappropriately transporting an adopted pygmy goat.
