Hammerhead Rifle Tool has a new armorer tool that covers a few different bases, and is available in both heat treated steel and titanium.
The HammerHead Rifle Tool is designed for removal and installation of the castle nut, A1 and A2 receiver extensions (buffer tube), as well as most flash suppressor and compensators. The tool also has a cutout for a 3/8" socket for proper torque if so desired. The end of the HammerHead Rifle Tool is pointed for pushing free tight or stuck receiver take down pins. Its a well built tool with usable features.

I've been playing around with the Hammerhead Rifle Tool for awhile now, and its a well thought out piece of equipment. The four points of contact for removing and installing castle nuts is a blessing. For anyone who has had to free a heavily staked nut, you know that light weight tools don't cut it. This design encapsulates the castle nut, and gives maximum bite without mangling the edges. If for no other reason than this, I think this tool is worth buying for anyone who works on M4 or AR15s on a regular basis.
The cutout for the flash suppressor is a nice idea, and it works as designed. Its easy enough to get a solid grip on the tool, and removal of even old stubborn A2 muzzle devices that have spent years of use and abuse with BFAs shouldn't be a problem.
The rifle receiver extension (buffer tube) cutout worked well for me, though most of the weapons I work on are carbines. I pulled out one of my older "extra" tubes and checked to ensure the Hammerhead Rifle Tool fit, and it did. More importantly than the proper fit was the look at the receiver extension that I pulled out of storage. It was an older one that I had removed with a garage tool because I was in a hurry. My misuse of a household tool mangled the end, and it goes to show that the "right tool for the job" is more than just a term my Dad used to use with me.
You can see in the below pictures that the 3/8" socket wrench fit with no trouble, and its a welcome addition for the times when a torque wrench is needed.
The Hammerhead Rifle Tool is available direct from the website. MSRP for the steel version is $39.50, and if you have got to have the coolest and lightest weight setup on the planet, the titanium version will set you back $119.50. I'll stick with the steel one for myself, it fits my needs perfectly.
