Marky Mark and the burger bunch will be adding to the family’s chain of fast-casual restaurants by opening the company’s first location on a military installation, the Army & Air Force Exchange Service announced.
Wahlburgers, a restaurant chain founded by brothers Paul, Mark and Donnie Wahlberg, will be moving in to the Lewis Exchange shopping center food court at Joint Base Lewis-McChord near Tacoma, Washington, in spring 2020.
The brothers will officially announce the endeavor to take the family business to soldiers, airmen and military families during Wednesday’s back-to-back episode season finale of “Wahlburgers” on A&E.

Luis Reyes, the Exchange’s senior enlisted advisor, said in the announcement. “Wahlburgers is part of the Exchange’s commitment to bring the best brands to the best customers in the world—Soldiers, Airmen and their families.”
Mark Wahlberg is no stranger to the military. Aside from playing numerous on-screen service members, he’s worked with AAFES in various efforts to benefit military personnel. His new film, “Mile 22,” is being screened in Afghanistan from Aug. 11 to 15, in advance of its U.S. release on Aug. 17. Select U.S. bases were also given free advanced screenings.
