Take some time this weekend to provide your input for the Blue Star Families annual Military Family Lifestyle Survey, which is open through Monday to active-duty service members, veterans and family members.
The voluntary online survey takes about 30 minutes to complete and is anonymous. The results help leaders in the administration and in Congress target resources, services and programs that support the military, said Cristin Orr Shiffer, senior advisor for policy and survey for the nonprofit Blue Star Families.
Topics range from deployment challenges, to wellness, education, employment, military child education, financial challenges and public policy issues, to name a few. Each person who participates in the survey can enter for the chance to win one of five $100 Visa gift cards.
The survey is conducted in partnership with the Institute for Veterans and Military Families at Syracuse University.
