Petroleum from the Navy’s Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility leaked into a Navy drinking water well and entered the Navy’s water system in late November.
Thousands of people have been treated for physical ailments and thousands of military families are staying in hotels because of the leak at the facility.
Residents of the affected communities are weighed down by the uncertainty of when they'll be able to return to their homes and how safe their homes will be, their long-term health concerns and just the daily grind.
