The sailor was one of the unidentified remains buried in 46 plots at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, known as the Punchbowl, in Honolulu.
The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency said that the remains of Navy Storekeeper 2nd Class Gerald Clayton, of Central City, had been accounted for on Sept. 10.
Navy Seaman 2nd Class William Campbell of Elizabethton was serving on the battleship Oklahoma at Pearl Harbor when the Hawaii base was attacked by Japan on Dec. 7, 1941.
