Our brave men and women in uniform have given everything to make us feel safe. But now, it’s time for us to protect them. During the COVID-19 health crisis, thousands of service members and veterans have been left without food, shelter, medical care, and other necessities.

In the days and weeks that followed the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in March, Soldiers’ Angels shifted its deployed, veteran, and caregiver support programs, as thousands of their volunteer “Angels” worked tirelessly –and virtually – to provide aid and comfort to the military-connected community.

To date, Soldiers’ Angels continues to provide food support, hygiene items, and more, to COVID-impacted deployed service members, their families, and veterans.

Soldiers’ Angels works tirelessly to provide aid, hot meals, housing services, and more, to deployed service members, their families, and veterans in need.

Over the last three months, Soldiers’ Angels has provided tablets and devices for veteran patients at VA’s to video chat with family and/or virtually visit with Soldiers’ Angels staff and volunteers, as well as provided medical transport for homeless COVID positive veterans to get to designated quarantine housing facilities.

Additionally, Soldiers’ Angels continues to meet the demand for their mobile food distributions around the country that serve at-risk veteran families, as they expand to provide hygiene products, as well as deliver meals to low-income, homeless, or elderly veterans who cannot get out due to quarantine measures. At each of their six distribution sites, veteran families in need receive, on average, 75 lbs. of food, including fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, and non-perishables.

Soldiers’ Angels also commits to continue its support for COVID-impacted deployed service members and their families around the globe, by providing masks, as well as distributing care packages and supplies to deployed units activated across the country for COVID relief.

To further support frontline VA workers around the country, Soldiers’ Angels is distributing masks as well as hygiene kits to hand out to veteran patients at the VA on lockdown whose families cannot come in and bring them these items from home.

Soldiers' Angels has many programs beyond COVID response that aim to provide aid, comfort, and resources in unique and effective ways to:

  • Military families and caregivers
  • Deployed service members
  • Wounded heroes
  • Veterans of all eras

The work by Soldiers’ Angels could not be possible without the support of its wonderful “Angel” volunteers who dedicate their time, money, and talents to the organization.

The global network of volunteers — representing all 50 states and 12 countries abroad — work tirelessly to ensure that those who serve or have served are supported, uplifted, and remembered through a variety of support programs.
