A Florida judge dismissed a lawsuit against Saudi Arabia over a 2019 mass shooting at NAS Pensacola that killed three sailors and injured several others.
Mourners in the front row at Compassion Christian Church included Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, who ordered flags lowered to half-staff at all statewide buildings to honor the serviceman.
“These young sailors represent the best of who we are as a Navy,” said Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Michael Gilday. “It is right and fitting that we posthumously advance them to petty officers.”
